Story Time: Supporting Characters

Each great story needs additional characters who add ‘flavour’ to the main characters. These selected few need to be carefully chosen for the emotions and skills that they bring into the story.

A good storyteller will be able to select just the right amount of characters to keep the story flowing without flooding the stage with too many egos and facts, making it complicated for the audience to follow. When selecting the supporting characters, use the character wheel to ensure you are getting the right mood, emotion and skill to add to your story.
