Story Time: 3 Main Story Characters

Every good story has three main characters: a Prince, a Princess and a Villain. Typically the prince needs to find the Princess to ‘rescue’ her, but the story escalates when the Villain is introduced to block this from happening. This then creates the main storyline for your story. How does the Prince get to his prize? He needs to learn new skills and become a different or better person to overcome the Villain’s obstacles. then he finds the princess and they all live happily ever after. The End.

This is the basic plot of 99% of all stories, they differ in the type of Prince and Princess and the Villain takes on many forms, but this is how to create the basic storyline and plot of a well-told story.
