My mission is to create a positive impact in the lives of 10 million people by sharing my strategic consulting, mentoring, and coaching, specifically focusing on innovative solutions and sustainability strategies, with a dash or two of experiential customer service. 

I was born in Zambia, grew up and was educated in Johannesburg. I started my career driving container ships around the oceans before migrating into technology. After a 15-year international corporate career, I leapt into Entrepreneurship when I opened my first business in 1998. My mission is to be instrumental in shaping my own business story and to assist many hundreds of others with theirs.

Using my Extreme Thinking Methodology and i5 Framework (Ideate, Innovate, Incubate, Initiate, Impact), my emphasis is on innovation. I have developed a range of leading models and methodologies that support the development of new ideas from initial concepts to sustainable business implementation.

Over the years, I have trained many thousands of people in both live and virtual presentation skills and have authored a range of over 37 books on business and story engineering. I have served as President of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa and am an inductee into the Educators Hall of Fame.

The following are Bruce Wade’s and his company, EM Solutions’s, standard terms and conditions of engagement. These terms and conditions may be negotiated but will apply in the absence of any expressly agreed-upon variation by the parties. 

Prerequisites 

Bruce Wade (and EM Solutions) together with the client agree to keep all matters discussed and disclosed confidential. 

EM Solutions cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from undisclosed information.

All bespoke Intelectual Property co-created whilst under contract with a client, will remain the property of the client.

The client is not duty bound to apply or act on the advice or information passed on by Bruce Wade, and if the client does, the client does this at their own risk. 

We aim to always will keep the client informed via email, direct messaging and verbal communication, at all stages of activities carried out for and on behalf of the client.

Fees and Payments

Quoted fees include includes briefing, consultancy, site visits, meetings, preparing training courses and
presentation.
All travel, accommodation and related fees are charged separately if not booked by the client.
All flights over 6 hours in duration are at Business Class.
Fees are negotiable and may, in some circumstances, be exchanged for other forms of remuneration.
All fees are charged net of local taxes or discernments, which are for the client’s account.
 
All charges are due in advance of the agreed service date. Payment of at least 50% of the total fee is payable within 7 days of invoice and serves as confirmation of the booking. The remainder of the fee is due on or before the agreed service date.

Cancellation 

Cancellation fees will be charged as follows:     

  • Within 15 days of the event above, 100% of the above fee will be payable.     
  • Between 15 days and 30 days, 75% of the above fee will be payable.     
  • More than 30 days, 50% of the above fee will be payable.     
  • Should you have to cancel the event we will endeavour to credit payments made to future work commissioned by yourselves. 

If Bruce is unable to perform the speech due to an accident or illness, EM Solutions will endeavour to provide a replacement speaker on agreement with the client. Failing this, EM Solutions undertakes to return any fee already paid by the client. 

Force Majeure

In the event this agreement cannot be performed or any of its obligations fulfilled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of either party including civil unrest, industrial action, natural disasters, or restricted access, then such non-performance or failure to fulfil the obligation hereunder shall be deemed not to be a breach of this agreement.
