Books
With over 37 titles to my name, I thrive on research, innovation and writing. A day without learning is like a day without oxygen.
My top 6 Books are listed below: These are used for my current Speeches, Workshops and Consulting.

Extreme Thinking
Your best ideas are dying; execution is the killer.
Every organisation has experienced it. A brilliant workshop produces exciting ideas, genuine energy fills the room, and everyone leaves inspired. Then nothing happens. Daily operations take over. The ideas end up in a forgotten folder. The workshop becomes another expense with no return.
The problem was never the quality of your thinking. The problem is the absence of a bridge between thinking and doing.
The i5 Framework builds that bridge. Developed by Bruce Wade as the practical companion to his Thunking methodology, the framework provides five systematic stages: Ideate, Innovate, Incubate, Initiate, Impact that move ideas from inspiration to measurable results.
Through real-world case studies spanning manufacturing, financial services, retail banking, and professional services, Bruce reveals why most pilot programmes fail, why scaling kills innovation, and why organisations consistently measure the wrong things. More importantly, he shows you exactly how to fix it.
This is not another book about having better ideas. It is a disciplined, repeatable pathway for turning ideas into moments of truth, the critical experiences that change how customers feel, think, and talk about your organisation.
Stop generating ideas. Start generating impact.

The AQ Leader
Your AI is working perfectly. So why aren’t your people?
Organisations worldwide are investing millions in AI technology whilst missing the factor that determines success: the quality of relationships between humans and AI systems. Technical excellence means nothing if your teams refuse to collaborate with AI, customers abandon AI-powered services, or employees work around systems instead of with them.
The AQ Leader introduces Agent Quotient—the critical framework that transforms AI from expensive automation into a genuine competitive advantage. This executive guide reveals why some organisations achieve 40% productivity gains whilst others struggle with single-digit improvements, despite using identical technology.
Whether you’re launching your first AI initiative or transforming existing deployments, this book provides the strategic frameworks and practical guidance to orchestrate human-AI collaboration that multiplies capability rather than merely automating tasks.
The future belongs to leaders who understand that AI success isn’t about technology—it’s about relationships.

Moments of Truth
Your biggest client just left. Not because you were expensive—your competitor bid higher. Not because your service was poor—your metrics were industry-leading. They left because, as their CEO put it, “We never felt like you truly saw us.”
This is the crisis facing organisations everywhere. Functional excellence is no longer competitive. Your customers aren’t leaving because you’re incompetent. They’re leaving because you’re unmemorable.
In this groundbreaking book, Bruce Wade exposes the costly illusion that satisfaction scores and operational efficiency create customer loyalty. Drawing on four decades working with organisations across every sector, he reveals why your competitors are winning—and it has nothing to do with their products or prices.
Moments of Truth provides the frameworks, tools, and systematic approach to building what is called the MOT Engine: a repeatable capability for creating experiences that customers remember, value, and refuse to leave.
Stop optimising metrics whilst your competitors create magic. Stop measuring satisfaction whilst ignoring the moments that drive loyalty. Stop playing checkers in a chess match.
Learn to create moments that cement customer relationships—or watch competitors who do capture your market.
The choice is yours. The imperative is now.

Thunking
Your best ideas are being silenced, and you don’t even know it.
Every brainstorming session has the same problem: a handful of loud voices dominate while deep thinkers, cautious critics, and quiet strategists are sidelined. The result? Solutions that are neither comprehensive nor truly innovative.
Thunking changes that.
Drawing on lessons from US Navy Special Forces and aviation cockpit reform, Bruce Wade reveals why the smartest teams in the world abandoned top-down thinking and what your organisation can learn from them. At the heart of the book is the Thunk Sheet, a deceptively simple framework built around five powerful questions: What Is? What If? Why No? Why Yes? What Now?
Combined with seven distinct Extreme Thinking styles, from Reality Thinkers who see every detail to Horizon Thinkers who imagine what’s never existed, the Thunk Sheet ensures every perspective is heard, challenged, and channelled into action.
This isn’t another book about thinking outside the box. It’s a practical, repeatable methodology for inviting everyone into your thinking process and arriving at solutions that are sharper, more resilient, and genuinely transformative.
Whether you lead a boardroom or a project team, Thunking will change how you solve problems permanently.

Impact
How deep does your social project really go?
Every year, millions are invested in social projects across the globe. Reports are filed, attendance numbers are counted, and stakeholders receive neat summaries that tell them very little about whether anything changed. The uncomfortable truth is that most social projects measure activity, not impact.
Impact changes the game entirely.
Bruce Wade introduces the Depth of Impact (DOI) formula — a groundbreaking yet accessible measurement system that finally answers the question every funder, project manager, and community leader needs to ask: did this project create lasting, meaningful change?
Using twenty carefully selected attributes across four quadrants, from Cost Effectiveness and Risk Management to Community Empowerment and Environmental Sustainability, the DOI formula gives social projects a measurable, trackable, and reportable score without the cost and complexity of traditional M&E programmes.
Drawing on lessons as unexpected as the hunting techniques of Southern Africa’s earliest inhabitants, Bruce reveals why most projects are “stun arrows” broad and blunt, when what communities need are sharp, narrow interventions designed for maximum depth.
Complete with downloadable scorecards and spider graphs, this is the practical toolkit that turns good intentions into measurable, life-changing outcomes.
Stop counting heads. Start measuring depth.

Brain Gym
Brain Gym is like taking your brain for regular workouts to get fit. Yes, just like a muscle in your body, your brain needs constant working to stimulate development and fitness for concentration, storage and the recalling of stored information.
Do you privately think you are stupid? Are you convinced that there is no way you could become smarter or better than you are right now? If you have answered ‘yes’ or ‘maybe’, I need to assure you that you are completely wrong and that there is hope of increasing your brain power and capacity to think better, faster, sharper and to improve the whole functionality of your brain. You need to believe that this is possible before you can go onto any more brain power exercises.
This workbook is designed with a series of exercises to be done over a 30 week period, that will require some effort and time, but when done will render your brain fit for a sprint as well as for a marathon. This is perfect for high school students, scholars and working adults. Each exercise builds on the skills and stamina of the previous exercise, so work through each one allowing enough time to complete each exercise (normally one per week).
